- The YDP - USA/Portland cordially
invites you to join them at their Outdoors adventure in Portland on August 17th weekend.
This is how the great weekend will be:
- Friday the 17th, everyone arrives at the Portland INTERNATIONAL
Airport (transportation is provided by the YDP members.
We go to dinner then go shake it at Fernando's (Salsa), Kolbeh (Arabic), Ararat (Arminian) or Santorini
(Greek). cast your votes!!!
Guys will spend the night at my place and the ladies can spend the night at Mrs. Sarreddine's house. (she will provide the
Mateh).
- Saturday the 18th, we drive to the beautiful DESHUTES river and take an 18 mile rafting
trip (few hours) then we camp on the river (eat, drink, talk, dance, and have a great time).
- Sunday the 19th, we can play it by ear, maybe go for a hike or something. then drive back to Portland, drop people off at airport, (kiss, hug, cry and promise
each others we will stay in touch).
- What to bring : any outdoor equipment you may have( derbakeh, gitar, oud, arabic music, and oh yeah, tents, sleeping bags, etc).
- Cost : We're going to try to keep the cost to a minimum considering how much everyone just spent at the convention, the rafting trip costs about
$55 per person ($50 if we have 10 or more people), then add $20 or $30 for food and camping stuff. and some spending money for Friday night.
- What would be great : to get ASAP Responses whether It's Yes or NO (yes is better) so
we can make reservations, also those who are coming, please let us know what kind of camping stuff you have, we might have to rent few things.

invites you to participate in its workshop dealing with the problems
of the youth in Lebanon, in particular the Young Druze Professionals.
The workshop is extended over 3 days from Friday
August 24 afternoon till Sunday August 26 afternoon in the
Center for Forest Development & Conservation in Ramlieh. Click

Participation Fee: 100,000 LBP including:
1. Six meals: Diner on Friday; Breakfast, Lunch & Diner on Saturday;
Breakfast & Lunch on Sunday.
2. Two nights in a double room in the Center.
