Some Teachings From

Al-Hikma

By Moustafa F. Moukarim

December 1988

I believe that ideas should be expressed in a very simple language to be well understood. Using difficult and sophisticated words does not add value; it only makes reading and understanding more difficult.

O’God Almighty, I Seek Your Will

Your Piety, Your Blessings Your Kindness And Your Conciliation

  1. Avoid directions destined to extinction. Seek the rout to Immortality.
  2. Do not trade your faith for material possessions, because you will eventually lose it to him who awarded it to you.
  3. To lose faith in God, and to fear people like you will lead to permanent fear and desperation.
  4. Be faithful to God He will protect you from the deceit of others.
  5. Hypocrisy leads to disperse and desertion.
  6. He who prays for two Gods is defeating the purpose of worship.
  7. Misfortunes and miseries exist in the dark where they cannot be detected and avoided. Elevate your Mind to His light where peace and harmony flourish.
  8. Your faith is true only when you worship the Lord because you want to and not because you have to.
  9. Remember your pledge to God when you accepted His Covenant (Al-Mithaq). You agreed to submit to His will and accept His judgment.
  10. The only route to God our Lord is through sincere and honest intentions.
  11. Remember, God our Lord can do without your worship and prayer, but you cannot do without His blessing and pity.
  12. Beware of sweet and meaningless words they cause total hypnosis.
  13. Remember, you are much closer to God our Lord than you think. He is within you and around you. His light is visible to those who look. His wisdom is available to those who listen. His blessings are accessible to those who seek.
  14. Your deeds and actions are a reflection of your faith and teachings.
  15. Your faith and teachings are:

  1. A truthful tongue.
  2. Cultivation and protection.
  3. Excision of fallacies and falsehood.
  4. Rejection of the villain and aggressor.
  5. Adoration of the Lord in every era and at all times.
  6. Cheerful acceptance of whatever comes from Him.
  7. Spontaneous submission to His will.
